On All Saints Night, we gather at the water’s edge to make space for grief.

Not only the grief of death, but every form of loss we carry — the ending of a relationship, a home left behind, a future imagined differently, a version of ourselves we’ve outgrown, or grief for the earth itself. All grief is welcome here.

Held by the elemental presence of the sea, we will move gently between ceremony, sauna, herbs, guided meditation and a sacred cacao ritual — meeting what we carry, rather than rushing to move beyond it.

There will be no expectation to share, no right way to grieve, and no need to explain your loss. Come exactly as you are.

As the veil is traditionally said to be thin at this time of year, we will honour those we have loved and lost, and the parts of ourselves that have changed along the way. Let the sea hold what has been too heavy to carry alone. Let the sauna warm what has grown cold. Let the cacao remind you that even within grief, the heart is still capable of love.

There will be a simple altar where you’re invited to place a photograph, object, flower or natural offering, in memory of someone or something you carry with you.
