Our saunas reach between 80–90°C, so we recommend only spending as long in the heat as you feel comfortable – for most people this is between 5–10 minutes.
A bucket and ladle are on hand to drizzle water over the sauna stones to create steam — the all-important Finnish “Löyly”! Once you’re hot enough, head outside and cool down under the cold shower or bucket shower, rest on the deck, and repeat!
A sauna assistant will be on hand to give you a brief introduction, manage the sauna stoves and answer any questions.
There are two wood-fired saunas in converted horseboxes with space for up to 8-10 guests on site. Both saunas have two tiered benches — lower for a more relaxing heat, higher for a more intense heat. Our wood-fired stoves are topped with volcanic sauna rocks and a water cup is provided for creating steam. Smoked glass doors provide privacy whilst giving a subtle view of the surroundings. There is ventilation in the floor of one sauna and ventilation holes with sliding doors in the other. There is also a timer in one sauna and not in the other.
On site you’ll also find:
Please note: on quieter days we may only fire up one sauna to ensure the most efficient use of wood. If this is the case you may be asked to use whichever sauna is running that day — we hope you understand!
Please remove all metal jewellery and avoid wearing glasses or bringing your mobile phone inside the sauna — metal and glass can overheat and become uncomfortable.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your session to get changed and receive a brief introduction from your sauna assistant. If you are a regular, please check in with the sauna host firstly before changing and going into the saunas.
Our saunas operate at between 80–90°C and are monitored by our sauna assistants at all times. Temperature gauges are visible inside and staff are always on hand to assist. Listen to your body and avoid overexertion — if you feel too hot or light headed, step outside, cool down and rest before going back in.
Please ensure you have read our terms and conditions before booking, particularly if you have any underlying health conditions.
